Scentsy Incentive Trip 2025 - Greece & Turkey, Brilliance of the Seas

Updated: Jun 17

I've officially reached my 11th incentive trip with Scentsy & let me tell you... every time better! I can't wait for the breathtaking views in Santorini to the unforgettable moments in Istanbul. This all-expenses-paid Scentsy adventure is truly going to be the trip of a lifetime. Here's a peek into my trip... so stay tuned!

Day 1 - Thursday, June 12, 2025

International travel is something else! We didn’t sleep for over 24 hours… because we left at sunset, & we were heading east, we only had a couple of hours of darkness before the sun started rising.

The best part of today was not having to lift a finger. Scentsy grabbed our luggage for us & transported (just us two) to the hotel in a Mercedes! On the drive over, we got to see the Olympic stadium where the first modern Olympics games in Greece took place in 1896.

…and of course, we had to stop at the LEGO store in the airport!

Day 2 - Friday, June 13, 2025

The Marriot had THE BEST breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen, offered by a hotel. So many options & I didn’t feel gross or full after eating… & the coffee was delicious!

Scentsy transferred us from the hotel to the cruise terminal & we got excursion tickets + our first goodies… potential new testers! How neat are these?! Definitely a more sophisticated approach.

We had a great dinner with my fave appetizer, escargot, & an exclusive party on the pool deck just for us.

Day 3 - Saturday, June 14, 2025

Santorini, Greece (Oia & Fira). Our tour guide shared so much information about this place but I was blown away by these tidbits…

1. There are 8-10 earthquakes a day here but you wouldn’t feel them.

2. There are about 25,000 residents on the island but they have to bring in an additional 20,000 to help with tourism (which they are grateful for).

3. There’s a cruise ship that sunk in 2007 that’s still in the caldera.

4. They don’t have a complete water system here (yet). When it rains, which is almost never, they collect as much rainwater as possible to use.

5. They’re known for their Assyrtiko wine. The grapes grow close to the ground & are watered by the morning dew since it doesn’t rain much & water is scarce.

This little gelato shop, Lolita’s, was highly recommended by our tour guide… & you can’t get normal flavors when you’re on vacation!

Rose water & pink pepper, olive oil, & pistachio cream. I thought I’d love the olive oil but it was my least favorite & rose water tasted like I was eating flowers but still good 🤩

Todays room drop was baklava & we came back to a towel elephant!

Day 4 - Sunday, June 15, 2025

Today we had another amazing tour guide in Ephesus. We passed other tours (even with Scentsy) & their guide was leaving out such beautiful details.

We also had the opportunity to see the last known place Mother Mary lived in before seeing the Basillica of St John.

Our room drop for today was a peshtemal; commonly used when visiting a Turkish bath to help the bather maintain privacy. They’re super absorbent & dry much faster than a traditional towel.

Day 5 - Monday, June 16, 2025

We had the opportunity to go to the Grand Bazaar & Egyptian Spice Market. Grabbed lots of souvenirs, colorful decor for the house, & made a HUGE mistake while converting Turkish lira to American dollars 😳😬 no more purchases until 2026 😂

Day 6 - Tuesday, June 17, 2025

Day 7 - Wednesday, June 18, 2025

Day 8 - Thursday, June 19, 2025

Day 9 - Friday, June 20, 2025
